Frank DeOrioFrank currently is employed as a Technical Manager for O'Brien & Gere. He has more than 38 years of experience in the areas of both industrial and municipal wastewater treatment, collection system maintenance including combined sewer overflow (CSO) and high-rate flow storage and release facilities, landfill operations, solid waste management, potable water treatment and distribution, hydropower and environmental remediation services. He is a 1977 graduate of Syracuse University where he majored in Biology and completed several years of graduate training in Biochemistry at Cornell University. He held the position of Municipal Utility Director for the City of Auburn from 1989 to 2007 where he was responsible for all operations in the water and wastewater divisions. Mr. DeOrio currently is a licensed wastewater operator in the states of New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Georgia, and a licensed potable water operator in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He is also certified as a Professional Operator by the Association of Boards of Certification (ABC), where he also currently serves as a member of ABC's Validation and Examination Committee.
